International Fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery

Starting in January 2015 it will be available a position of ‘Clinical Fellow’ dedicated to international ophthalmologists. The position is for 2 two-year period and includes hands-on training for qualified surgeons and clinical activities.
The fields of interest for the fellow include all the spectrum of aesthetic facial surgery, including endoscopic face lift, fat grafting, blepharoplasty and facial fillers. Extensive exposure to eyelid reconstruction, lacrimal and orbital surgery will be provided to the fellows.
Since the fellowship is also a scientific fellowship, scientific projects and publications will be welcomed and especially encouraged.
Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to academic ophthalmology and have plans for using the fellowship training after returning home.
The choice of the application is based on objective parameters (CV, previous publications, candidate’s surgical log) and also on subjective unquestionable parameters decided on an individual basis by the preceptor.
